Yamaha Maintenance

Why do I work on my own engine? A few reasons.

First, the work isn't hard. It saves money leaving more for gas.  Plus, I can do the work around my schedule, not a shop's schedule.

I'm not a Yamaha tech. If anything serious occurs, it's going to the Yamaha dealer. But routine maintenance, oil change, filter, spark plugs, crankcase anodes, lower gear oil, water impeller, are all easily serviceable items.
